I was moving this past weekend and had my phone on my lap when i was driving the Uhaul and forgot it was there. I got out of the truck and BAM my wonderful third replaced full functionally touch pro from best buy hits the ground. My screen is all scratched up and the top has a big dent in it. The Moral to my story is when i called asurion for a replacement as we were finishing up my request she read the phone i would be receiving back to me and i noticed it was the diamond, "they have em listed as 6950 or whatever i forgot the exact numbers". I told her thats not the correct phone and mine is more expensive and i want the same phone. She put me on hold and came back and said that the pro is on backorder which is why i defaults to the diamond becuase they have them in stock. I told her i wanted the touch pro she said fine and placed my order. She said that since it's on backorder i should recieve my phone in 5-10 business days. So i believe that you guys are just ordering a replacement and not listening to the rep. They don't know as much as we do and to them the phone models and numbers look very similiar and unless you tell them they might not notice the difference. I believe this is why some of you have received a diamond and not the pro as a replacement. I haven't had a problem with asurion at all, in fact they were very helpful. I was also told that when my order shipped that i would recieve an email with shipping info. Hope this helps.

I went through the same process and telling them that I wanted the same phone and i get an order confirmation saying that Im going to get a 6850 The Touch Pro and the 6950 is what I get, the rep i spoke to today said that asurion has a set date in the system that ppl must get there phone and it the phone is not in stock the send the next closest thing, I was supposedly reorderd a phone but i havent recieved a confirmation,

Ill be calling back later today to make sure i wasnt charged for another replacement and to make sure the second swap wont affect my number of claims

Well thats good you haven't been sent a confirmation yet that just means there waiting for the shipment to arrive. If you were getting another diamond they would have shipped it out right away because they already have them in stock. As far as having to receive your phone in a certain amount of time. I'm unsure about that. I wasn't told that but they told me they should be receiving stock anyday now so just keep your fingers crossed i know mine are

i am so mad at asurion. i am calling everyday for my tracking number. i am without phone rite now. their excuse is "i will be getting my phone tomorrow" but their tomorrow is never coming because today is today.

same thing has happened to me its been two weeks since my phone was stolen and once i get it, its the touch diamond which sucks...i called and they put me on re-order which she said would take 7-10 business days...called sprint they said that there is nothing that they can do

I was just at asurion's website to check my order and i now have a tracking number and they said the package was shipped yesterday. It says i should receive it tomorrow. I'm happy but disappointed because i was told that it would be next day shipping once they received shipment but O Well. Can't wait to get my replacement.

I have been in contact with the office of the CEO in regards to me getting my phone changed out. The problem is they obviously do not have any refurbed Pros out yet, so they are drop shipping them out of the Sprint warehouse new. Because they are insurance replacements Sprint does not give them high priority over phones they can make a profit on. They told me that it could be 7-10 buisness days so it could mean 2 weeks. Oddly enough I was on the phone with them and they told me that my order was still processing and it was still there (read in I got frustrated and tried to return the phone to Best Buy to no success and told Assurion to cancel my claim) and I was in line. Right after I got off the phone I found a Diamond setting on my doorstep (Present?) I called to Assurion and they told me my claim was processed and I got a Diamond and assured me I would recieve a pro in 2 weeks... so do I have 2 claims? I paid one $50 deductable.
