Re: Asuion replacements
I was moving this past weekend and had my phone on my lap when i was driving the Uhaul and forgot it was there. I got out of the truck and BAM my wonderful third replaced full functionally touch pro from best buy hits the ground. My screen is all scratched up and the top has a big dent in it. The Moral to my story is when i called asurion for a replacement as we were finishing up my request she read the phone i would be receiving back to me and i noticed it was the diamond, "they have em listed as 6950 or whatever i forgot the exact numbers". I told her thats not the correct phone and mine is more expensive and i want the same phone. She put me on hold and came back and said that the pro is on backorder which is why i defaults to the diamond becuase they have them in stock. I told her i wanted the touch pro she said fine and placed my order. She said that since it's on backorder i should recieve my phone in 5-10 business days. So i believe that you guys are just ordering a replacement and not listening to the rep. They don't know as much as we do and to them the phone models and numbers look very similiar and unless you tell them they might not notice the difference. I believe this is why some of you have received a diamond and not the pro as a replacement. I haven't had a problem with asurion at all, in fact they were very helpful. I was also told that when my order shipped that i would recieve an email with shipping info. Hope this helps.
