Opera Mobile beta 2 released - upgrade?
I went ahead and installed the new Opera 9.5 beta 2 but now I have two instances of Opera icons in my list of programs! I'm not sure if the Opera I installed overwrote the one on there (which I assume was beta 1).
Should I uninstall this and reinstall? It says its Version 9.5 Build 2316 and both icons seem to open the same browser. http://www.opera.com/products/mobile/download/ UPDATE: What I didn't realize when I first posted this is that the beta is actually 9.51. I hadn't realized that there was a stable version of 9.5 out already. Oops! Last edited by asuh; 10-27-2008 at 04:20 AM. |

Re: Opera Mobile beta 2 released - upgrade?
im pretty sure you cant overwrite opera, i think its embeded into your rom. you can always stop customization and get rid of bloatware and install opera yourself. im not sure about why you would want bata over stock version.

Re: Opera Mobile beta 2 released - upgrade?
I thought the Opera version on these phone was the first beta anyway? Am I incorrect?
If you go in Opera, click on Help, and then a link that says About Opera, it should tell you the build number. What build does yours say? |
