Re: Opera Mobile beta 2 released - upgrade?
I thought the Opera version on these phone was the first beta anyway? Am I incorrect?
If you go in Opera, click on Help, and then a link that says About Opera, it should tell you the build number. What build does yours say? |

Re: Opera Mobile beta 2 released - upgrade?
Included opera is NOT b1 - it is build 2316... I'm not sure what build b2 is but it is probably similar....

Re: Opera Mobile beta 2 released - upgrade?
really? hmm... then the beta that I installed isn't actually showing up. when I click on either Opera, they both go to 2316, which I guess is the stable version.
I'm gonna try to uninstall Opera beta 2 then and see what happens. Hope it doesn't mess my configuration up! |

Re: Opera Mobile beta 2 released - upgrade?
Probably the same thing - I haven't installed a later version and mine is 2316... It might create a second icon too different from the OEM version - check for a second opera icon....
Also, I'm not sure that the betas available on their site will use the opera preloader which is what causes opera to load so fast on these devices.... Beta 1 did not, but the earlier versions ripped from the gsm diamonds did come with a preloader.... |

Re: Opera Mobile beta 2 released - upgrade?
Actually you can type responses on the stock TP Opera. Click the switch editor mode button (top right of the text box you type into; the icon has two A's) and then you can type in it and submit the reply.

Re: Opera Mobile beta 2 released - upgrade?
Well, that's kinda weird. Neither installing or uninstalling Opera 9.5 beta 2 seems to have done anything at all. I didn't notice any difference except for the extra icon in the programs list. This Opera version must be intertwined with the TF3D software rather than Windows Mobile, in which case I dunno how to modify it at all?
