Why poor Russ? He publically posted that info on his blog and said anyone on the interwebz could use it.

I also got mine at Best Buy. They did have to call into Sprint as they couldn't do the SERO on thier computer. So they called and did a manual contract. No problems went pretty fast

I am not sure he was intending that the whole web community would be doing so further than the few select that read his blog. It's doubtful he intended on having it re-post on high traffic sights.. I forgot to check if it's posted on SD and FW.

BUT then again, see his signature; title/position.. Perhaps it's all a marketing "strategy".

Either way, I have to give him kudos, and thanks on my part for his contribution and taking time to personally address my conserns

Now an added question, since it seems many on SERO also went the BB way.. Did you have to extend your contract? What if any discounts did you get, what did you end up playing out the door?

It's there, because legacy sero account holders aren't able to upgrade via websales/telesales. Moreover, he felt it was unfair and posted the info to make it easier for them/us. There's another 1 or 2 emails on the second page as well.

I paid $299 - 20% discount = $256, including tax, out the door.
