Got my replacement yesterday from corporate store....11/24 build.....all of my problems are gone...

are u still having battery issue.. that is my biggest thing... yesterday battery went dead and i still couldnt use phone even though it was plugged into car outlet... on my htc touch i always was able to ... not sure why the pro needs more time to juice up ...

I have only had it since yesterday but I can already tell you that my battery life is 80% better than what it was....very happy....the battery was killing me to....I thought I had to train the last one but it never got any better...this one out of the box has lasted much more like the Mogul so far....

Love to here that, i will be testing mine all today... im going to install a custom rom on this one! Heres to hoping for even better performance!

It's not a matter of taking time to "juice up," it's that the device overheats, and turns OFF the charging circuit. Your phone simply heats up, shuts off charger, drains battery (quicker than normal,) then shuts off completely, cools, down, and resumes charging...

That's really great to hear. Perhaps the Pro will be a worthwhile phone eventually. Other people have had the same build-date as you, but had problems, so I don't think it's the actual build date we can go on. I wish we could figure out what plant made them...

Just tried this....it is fine up and down and right to left....but yes it does stop short about an 1/8th of an inch from left to right.....never noticed this issue until you brought it up....

Just another FYI.....I tested the over heating issues I had before....I have none that I had before.....before it would heat up at random and when I ran internet or music and vids for a few minutes it would also heat up.....so far so good....keeping fingers crossed....

Just picked up my replacement yesterday. Build date 11/25/2008. So far battery seems better. Still the raised dpad - only slightly though. Not as hot for sure. Screen sensitivity still an issue in notes.

I noticed something strange. Tried to restore a sbp backup and it said that I could restore but I had a newer ROM?

Trying to confirm. My ROM is 1.03.651.3.

Is this newer?

Thanks for giving me hope. If the X1 doesn't pan out, I will have to try the Pro again.

To be 100%, you calibrated the screen with the stylus, (so it's accurate,) then held the phone in portrait mode, and drew a line in Notes, from the center of the screen to the left side of the screen, and without using the stylus, fingernail, or anything but normal pressure on your thumb, (like using the TF3D tab,) it went all the way to the left side? If so, you can consider my mind--blown. So far no one else has had a TP that works like this...
