Re: Touch Pro Battery life!!! Post your reviews!!

Battery life is great for me as well... used it all day long, received e-mails to it throughout the day (have my work e-mail set up on it). txt throughout the day and under moderate use and after an entire day (unplugged at 7:30 am, to 10:30pm) I had 70% battery life left.

Over the weekend I drained the battery and it only dropped 10% after the entire night. Had to play with it for 5 straight hours the next morning to knock out the last 30%.

Pretty cool how features turn off once the battery is at 1% to try to stay on longer to save data, etc.

Again, I keep googling, forum searching, and no dice... I see conversations about rotating radios with the diamond for additional power savings, whats with the TP though?

None, I am too much of a nub right now with WinMo... this is my first smartphone!

I have only installed CorePlayer, the Battery Icon w/ % and um... Remote Desktop.

Re: Touch Pro Battery life!!! Post your reviews!!

I'm using the TP moderately (outlook email every 30 minutes, gmail every 15 minutes, 10 texts, internet browsing 30 minutes, a couple of youtube videos, 5 phone calls under 5 minutes)

off the charger at 6:15am, had to plug it up at 1:30p

not great but not bad i guess

Re: Touch Pro Battery life!!! Post your reviews!!

ive done no tweaks or anything special, i do have BT and beams off, and backlight on auto-adjust. Now unlike most of you i am a very casual user, on an average workday maybe 10 min of calls, 5 texts or so and 10 mins of internet browsing. Now with my mogul i would probably last just about a day with this usage, the enormous battery drain in standby was the most frustrating thing about that battery. Now with my TP, i charged my phone sunday night, and i am currently sitting at 70%. This blows away the mogul and a900 before that. No idea if this is normal "standby" battery usage or i am just lucky, but being a non-heavy user of my phone during most days im thrilled my battery is finally acting like it.

Oh I do have wifi off and bluetooth... haven't needed either yet. Maybe thats why mine is lasting a bit longer.

What is beam for anyway? I was considering turning that off (is it on by default?).

Hey, how do you know when the Touch Pro is done charging? I've heard that the light surrounding the middle button shows it's charging, but once it's full... what happens?
