it wont hurt, but if you don't see any further improvement after one more shot then just switch to once a month.

I got the Touch Pro last Thursday. I am NOT impressed with the battery life. I replaced my Treo with this unit and compared to that, the battery life is lousey.
I hope there is a company that will make a better battery. Other than that, I really like the features of the phone.

Pro battery life sucks with GPS turned off, wifi, BT, etc. My Mogul battery lasted for about 38% longer it seems.

TP battery life sucks with everything turned off including the GPS feature. The Mogul battery lasted a lot longer.

I drained my battery to E yesterday (on purpose). I had it to the point that soon as it got p***** the green screen it cut off. I then charged it to its max over night. From 8 am to 3pm (right now), its at 60%. Piratically no net usage, a couple phone calls (no more than 3 minutes each), and mp3s playing with the back light off for about 2 hours.

battery life is GREAT for me!!!

i did all the registry tweaks
i turned off location except for 911
i turned off wifi/bluetooth

and my battery lasts longer then my old mogul. 45 min phone call, 10 min of web surfing with opera, and a couple text messages, and still over 80% battery. havent even come close to running low on battery during a single day yet

the battery hasn't lasted me more than 5 hrs today. luckily i still have my diamond and the batteries are identical

This is quite possibly the worst battery I've ever had the pleasure to deal with. It is currently on 30% after only 8 hours off the charger. I've done maybe 10-15 minutes of internet surfing. about 1-2 hours of Microsoft Exchange Push email, automatically checking my gmail email every 30 minutes, sending and receiving about 20-30 text messages, and making no calls. In my opinion this is very very light usage of the phone.

Now I am very confident that if I had the push email on the whole time, had been responding to emails, doing a little more surfing, and making a few phone calls the phone would have been dead a couple hours ago.

My only saving grace is I am most likely going to exchange the phone due to the "blown speaker" sound on the earpiece.

Which registry tweaks are you referring to? I have tried several with no luck but am willing try to the same methods you used if you dont mind telling...thank you
