The second link posts the temperature that the battery stops charging... Which is what would happen if your phone got too hot.

This was posted on the 1ST page of the original thread, openly stating that the TP has the heat shield...

"Battery Life & Heat Problems like the Diamond?
Battery life issue on the diamond is due to the radio in constant refresh, basically instead of interval of 300ms the diamond was set to 100ms and causes battery drain. The heat issue is also another cause but the

reason for the heat is due to the heat plate was not added to the sprint version behind the keys like it was supposed to and sprint and HTC are discussing that. The heat plate is on the Pro, also I tested the phone and over clocked the processor to test to see if there was a heat issue, there was not a problem at all, and the processor took the over clock nicely. I tested the radio also for the heat issue and after 2.2 hours it was warm to were it could be noticed but correct me if I'm wrong what phone doesn't get warm with that amount of talk time."

Are you only seeing and reading problems that you want to? I think you are posting far too fast in too many topics and not fully digesting what you are reading, but that is my perception... Reality could be different!

Nope, the phone clearly heated up so much that the battery drained. Several people have noticed the same thing.

Re: Is the stock charger adequate?

We are saying the same things then. The phone created heat and charging the batt created heat until the internal circuitry stopped charging.

I simply wanted to make sure you knew that there was a temp posted that the batt stopped charging at and that there is a heat plate in the TP, even though it is not helping you.

it's not helping several of us, mine stops charging 30~45 minutes into a call. There's defintely still a problem with the radio not being efficient.

Re: Is the stock charger adequate?

Ok, I will be more clear. I wanted to correct the OP in his statements that the TP did have a Heat Plate and that there is a temp that the batt cuts out.

What I don't understand, is if this phone has the heat plate, then why is the battery getting so hot?

It is because the radio is getting hot and heating the battery through residual heat, or is it because the radio drawing so much current that the action of discharging the battery is heating it up?

Re: Is the stock charger adequate?

I'm glad i stumbled unto this thread. While at work today i notice my phone wold randomly stop charging. First thought it was the outlet so i plugged my bluetooth into the same outlet. Bluetooth charged fine, i then plugged my tp into my mogul charger same thing. I thn decided to turn off bluetooth, and data connection. Guess what phone started charging. This is the one thing i can't deal with. I have to have my bluetooth on, and a constant data connecting to work. If i can't find a fix i 'm gonna take my tp back. tis would really suck, because i really love this phone, but i put to much strain on my phone to have it charg when i need it to. I mean how hard is it to make a phone tha charges while u use othe features of the phone. Instad of given me a g sensor ho about given a phone that fully works

Re: Touch Pro Battery life!!! Post your reviews!!

Okay so removed it from power at 3pm current time 12:31am 13% power left. Bene using it on and off all day back lit at medium level texted checked e-mails and a phone call as well as browsed the internet on and off today. Waiting onit to drain completely before I charge it back up did use the power hacks no sure if they mattered. Question is thier a program that lets me see the voltage and such on when i am charging it? I heard neu has it but not showing the volate just the percents.

I use BatteryStatus plugin. If you want to keep TF3D, install SecondToday and run BatteryStatus in there.
