hmmm .. so many mixed reactions .. are people with earlier build dates 10/19 saying that these files dont do anything?.. is this file only needed for build dates around 10/13 .. the first released devices?

Sounds like they all have LOW VOLUME, but the earlier phones have defective hardware on top of that...

The files have done nothing on my phone that I can hear with my ears. My phone is a 10/12 phone.

The lite fix version caused an echo for the person that was talking to me. The echo only occurred when my speaker volume was above half. I was using a wired headset on my TP. The person I was talking to was also using a wired headset on a blackberry. We even tried hanging up and re-calling to make sure it wasn't just a bad connection.

Any thoughts?

Yeah i have build date 10-14-08 and everything except the earpiece sounds great. the earpiece is so muffled and low i cant hear sh**.... quick question: if i bought a tp at Best Buy. will they exchange it at a sprint retail with my insurance service if i told them the earpiece crapped on me????

You could read the thread where I describe my journey trying to do just that--but the mods around here tend to delete threads instead of locking--without warning.

Basically, be ready for one hell of an annoying experience. I haven't been that angry in years.
