Why is Sprint making things all confusing and difficult. Whatever happened to phones going straight to the Sprint Store and online and us purchasing them from their. Why was the Diamond released on line and then weeks later in the stores and the stores don't have show models? Now with the Pro they are sending it through Best Buy? Crazy

Well, the Mogul launched via TeleSales a month before it launched in stores. So the Diamond's nothing new. As for Best Buy, word is Best Buy DID pay to have it earlier, so money talks.

Question for the Best Buy folks here....if there are defective phones that are purchase from Best Buy, will Sprint repair or replace them, or will Best Buy be responsible for the repair/replacement.

If it's under warranty then you can bring it into a Sprint repair center to have it repaired/replaced. And if you have the insurance through Sprint, then it's all irrelevant. But yes, since it's a Sprint phone, and their carrier's warranty service, you can have it worked on at a Sprint store.

if you have the 7 insurance sprint will always take carfe of the phone. best buy offers its own insurance, but its up to you, which wouldn't be bright if you already pay sprint for total equipment protection

Thanks to both of you! I was pretty sure of that, but the ubergeek WoW player on the other side of my network was telling me that if one buys a Dell from BB, then they service, not Dell. He wants to make sure that there is not an equivalent to the Geek Squad for cell phones.

And yes, I have the TEP, but dang! After reading this forum, I realize that I have been not very bright in trying to exchange my aging Treo 650, using TEP!

And yes, your friend is right about Dells from BB. That's why they're so much cheaper there.

turbo can you point me in the direction of the 20% savings for RZ for the pro. I just want to read it.
