Just have them bill the Touch Pro to your Sprint account - then when they apply the credit it will be a wash.

Just got the $150 credit + any in-store discounts towards the Touch Pro when it comes out. Thanks for the heads up on this. Can't wait till this thing is released

E-care told me that I can get the Touch Pro for $30 because it's still under the one year warranty. If the release date is pushed further back than Oct. 19, I'll be good. Otherwise, I may only get a $75 rebate.

I guess it's better than nothing.

$30 or $300?

I got the $300 offer one from eCare, will keep trying until I get as lucky as OP of thread or might exchange back to a Mogul so I can build a case for a free upgrade.

Recieved this after an email to ecare. No free phone.

Thank you for contacting Sprint. I apologize for the inconvenience you
have experience with your phone.

As we people at eCare are not equipped with the tools and equipments
which are required to check the handset, it would not be possible for us
to perform your request on the phone remotely. Please visit the
nearest Sprint store to get the handset checked. Otherwise, I would
have not recommended you to the store.

I noticed that the account has the Total Equipment Protection Plan added
to it. You can get a replaced handset (same handset model) and activate
the handset with the same number by calling our insurance department,
Asurion at 1-800-584-3666.

I understand that you would not like to go for the same handset.
However, under Total Equipment Protection Plan, you can get replace your
handset with the same model.

You are eligible for $75.00 rebate towards the purchase of a new phone
on line #7137. However, considering your valuable association with us,
I can offer you additional rebate of $75.00 rebate on the purchase of a
new phone. To get the credit, you need to write back to me after the
activation of new phone on the account.

HTC Touch Pro will be available October 19, 2008.

well if you haven't gotten your phone service or anything, they aren't going to believe that you have problems. I mean I wouldn't believe you, if you're having problems take it in, get it replaced, and then if those same problems are happening then get them to replace it with a different phone.

I had a legitimate problem with the mogul, and then had to switch to the Touch. I'm not sure anyone that doesn't have any record of having service on their phone is going to convince sprint that they deserve a new phone. just my .02

Well, I have two moguls and I have basically had similar issues like everyone else. When I emailed ecare, I told them about the issues I've had and I also told them that I have never had either phone serviced in anyway what so ever. I also asked them for a discount on both the diamond and the pro since I wasn't happy with my mogul. Again keep in mind I asked for a discount not a replacement since I thought that would be unrealistic. The next email they sent me said that they would just replace both my moguls with a diamond and a pro. I have already recieved the diamond now I am waiting for the pro, so there is a possibility that they could replace it with out service.

can you give me the reps name at at&t that promised you 4 iphones for $100. because I also work for them and you can bet that they won't have a job long. We are under strict warnings that messing with the price set forth by apple will result in instant termination. So a name would be appreciated.

Mike Hunt offered me a similar deal at an AT&T store. Just call customer service and ask to speak with Mike Hunt. His manager Mike Hawk also offered the same deal. If you can't find Mr. Hunt, tell them you need to get in touch with Mike Hawk and that should do the trick.
