HTC Touch Pro Release Date!

if you have att couldn't you just buy the gsm version and pop your sim card in? why wait for it to come out specifically for att?

Because the 3g is not compatible from the UK GSM version. Not a good idea.

Thats as far as sprint though correct? like att wont have a 1350 on the diamond will it?

While it is possible, it is not likely...the 900mAH didn't pack enough juice to power the device. I'd be very surprised if they didn't include the 1340mAH for what its worth.

Ignore the fact that the article is about th Katana. Instead, it's the dates that we're interested in. They range from Sept to mid-October yet it doesn't look like the Touch Pro is anywhere to be found. Maybe the Best Buy guys who said earlier that November is the projected launch seem to be more on par? You be the judge.

Saw this on engadget too. Thing is, it has dates up to October 16. I'm pretty sure someone threw out a date of 10/19/08, so that may be why the Touch Pro isn't listed.

I'm pretty sure whenever the touch diamond drops we will have the date for the touch pro. That makes sense to me

I don't know where I read this, but someone somewhere once said that the Diamond will be coming out on 9/2 and the Touch Pro would be a month later (no specific date). Since the engadget confirms the Diamond release date, that info may be correct.

I'm right there with you guys. I can't wait for the Touch Pro to be released.
