I think the Touch was meant as a more mainstream device to compete with the iphone, at least before the Instinct. Last I checked the Touch is shown on their home page. I wonder what the ratio of Mogul to Touch that have been sold. My speculation is that there are more Touch sales than Mogul.

I am sure that sprint got cut a huge check from Best Buy to have the touch pro exclusive for a week. Best Buy is doing everything possible to brand them selves as the cell-phone retailer of choice.

As far as I'm concerned, any delay is pure speculation. We will see on Sunday. This is a big launch for sprint, and I don't think they would screw it all up by not announcing the delay and such.

That's easy for you to say, you're not paying monthly on a dead Mogul under Sprint's advisement to wait for the launch. :P Of course they have credited me for one month thus far, and I should be getting my phone for $124.99, but still it sucks being phoneless for so long.

2 weeks from Sunday. Now, I'm just going to sit back and relax (of course, I may pop into Best Buy next Sunday (10/26)...just out of curiosity...since it is also my b'day on that day).

Well, I really was HOPING that I would be able to use the device without the keyboard. But after a week of use, I have determined that the keyboard is a must have.

I really will miss the form factor though. Hopefully the pro won't be too much larger.

Oooh Surprise.. Another rep told me 12/19 now for the release of the touch pro. They are so confused. I was on the phone because of an issue with Sprint Picture mail. Apparently there is a size limitation on what they will send to other carriers. I can send a small file fine to a verizon phone, but anything taken with 2 megapixel setting fails.
