Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!

SD card isn't mounting well, probably need a combo of system and rootfs, according to discussions on the XDA 2.2 thread.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!

I have a feeling we could fix it with a symlink. I suspect the core system is looking for an empty mountpoint, and the file managers are simply browsing 'traditional' folders.

e.g. android : /sdcard

what is actually mounted in a (relatively) traditional nix system: /media/sdcard

I also noticed when running mount from the terminal, that the sdcard is mounted as a block device, but doesn't seem to have a corresponding file pointer (as listed above). There is however a TON of mounts so I may just be missing it.

I do have *A* ringtone on my 500; it's a default one. If i try to change it, I only get the 'silent' option. but it definitely makes noise if it rings or notifies me.

I'm seeing the same behavior with the new bundle, except my phone is silent, no incoming ringtone.

Ah, nice to know that the bundle is working (or not working) the same for the 500 and 800. Looks like Makkonen's patches to the kernel are sticking. The 500 is such a dog of a device. but I have to say, with the 2.2 updates it makes it so much more fun to use.
