This happened to me with the new builds. Delete your data.img, and try again.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!

ok something new and interesting. it's been mentioned but now that i've experienced it, it is different than previous issues:

Previous:
hardware buttons would screw up. the back button would act as the end button and the home button would not work. required a restart to fix.

Now:
hardware buttons screw up. none of the buttons work. while in google maps i noticed that the call and home button would scroll the map to the left. the end and back buttons scroll the map to the right. can not turn off screen or access options menu.

i remember one of the devs talking about this and i believe they put in a code in the kernal that makes android refresh the buttons. after that i no longer had an issue with the back button acting as the end button. so hopefully if this is a widespread issue, it can be patched.

can anyone else with this issue chime in?

Haven't had that issue specifically but I've seen the buttons go unresponsive a few times.

Ditto. I usually just keep pressing on the extremity of the button and it *eventually* works...

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!

they are for the most part unresponsive, i just happened to notice that in maps it scrolls me. next time you guys notice that it becomes unresponsive, can you open maps and see if it scrolls for you.

i'm starting think they are not unresponsive, only remapped for a different purpose (scrolling) and never routed back to what they need to be.

Thanks in advance.
I have the latest Kernel posted yesterday, (Android2 base, but debug symbols) and the new RootFS. I grabbed the latest initrd a week back too when I went to the latest AIO.

Did you guys see that babijoee is asking if anyone wants to make a new boot image that would be used for the newer builds?

Does anyone have a problem with the backlight not staying as you set it after you make it "sleep"? It gets very dim. And what is the proper way to wake my phone up from sleep?

Frequently Asked Questions
My backlight isn't adjustable/goes dim and I can't bring it back.
Turn off automatic backlight adjustment in WinMo (Settings -> System -> Power -> Backlight), and then you should be able to adjust it in Android.
It always seems to wake up by hitting the back button for me. Please check out the first three posts before you ask a question it may have been already answered.

Yeah, completely stupid of me. My apologies.

Now, let's hope I don't be stupid again.
Is there any setting that allows the screen to wake on a new text?
