I'm seeing about 4 hours with pretty heavy data usage...sometimes down to 3. I can stretch it to 6 with light usage.

I don't have solid confirmation that radio version has no effect -- but I've changed my personal radio version, and noticed no effects.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)

Just a quick note: On the 5-11/12 release, I set up my data login and password...and it would not connect. I reset my TP, started android again...and it connected right away. Hope this helps others having connection issues

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)

so i got the latest version of the "complete pack" from the first page and i put it onto my SD card. I run HaRET.exe and i get to this kind of boot up screen (looks like a command prompt) and it runs through until it gets an error of some sort and it tells me that i need to unzip "rootfs" into my SD card's root directory and then about 2 minutes later it moves down some more and it says that "......inactive (or something) for 120 seconds" and then it waits and does it again and again (the part about waiting 120 seconds)

what gives?

aside form that, great set of instructions, i guess if i wasn't such a toolbox, i'd be running android right now lol. thanks in advance.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)

system.sqsh has been updated at XDA. Use at your own risk.

Doesn't seem to be causing problems but apparently no major improvement yet either.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)

Doesn't look like it should cause any problems -- just apk changes, it seems. From xda:

  • Readded Google Maps since we have GPS support now
  • Replacing default Music app modd by cacheinjection
  • Adding new launcher LauncherPro 0.3.0
  • Removing home++ as i think LauncherPro is quite awesome
  • Updated xda app, advanced task killer, OI file manager, Battery Indicator

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)

New system is pretty nice. No issues that I've noticed yet. Running since lastnight (early morning)
