Format your card and try a fresh build - don't reuse anything.

I finally got it working not quite sure what it was. The one thing about it though is the wi-fi doesn't work neither the actual internet service. But it's SO COOL Thank all of you guys who made it possible!

There was a trick where you had to manually add an APN, but I thought those times were gone. I guess it also depends on your phone provider - for example Sprint is basically little to no configuration, while Cricket, MetroPCS - any of those providers that use a proxy to connect, it's a PITA. |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!
Here's my directory structure:
/andboot -/AndroidApps -/CONF -/MEDIA -/STARTUP CONFIGS -HARET -INITRD -modules-2.6.2... -ROOTFS -STARTUP -system -zImage Here's my startup.txt: set ramsize 0x10000000 set ramaddr 0x10000000 set mtype 2040 set kernel zImage set initrd initrd.gz set cmdline "lcd.density=210 msmvkeyb_toggle=off board-htcraphael-navi.wake=0 gsensor_axis=2,-1,3" boot also, I'm now using MightyROM6 (last week I had no ROM, but now I do, same issue). |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!
Just a quick newbie question. Does the sd card have to be formatted and if it does can I add other stuff back on the sd card like pictures and videos after I do this?

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!
SPORTSMAN70003: Sometimes the sd card has to be formatted. But it's a regular fat32 format, and can still be used both within winmo and android, and can hold all your old files (though you might have to back them up, reformat, and replace them). However, occasionally a weirdly named file on the sd card will cause problems booting or scanning the card, and something in android won't work. So the answer is a qualified yes.
komgol: I'm still pretty baffled here. Everything looks right. Try this: Put a file called 'earlyharetlog.txt' in the andboot folder alongside haret. run it. it should create a 'haretlog.txt' file. See where it's hanging up and report back. You can paste that file here if you want... though I'm not sure it'll have anything interesting to say. I hope it does. |
