Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
you guys have really came along ways in the last month or to. keep it up, i always hated my htc touch pro, it was new and no one really cared for it. Then i found the ppcgeeks site and started the custom roms. It liked it more and more, Now out of no where, this thing can run 3 different operating systems. Windows Mobile / Android / And Blackberry (Still in development of course). Its turned into quite the super phone. It made me smile to make a call and the microphone worked! It still has its moments as always cuz its a 528mhz processor. (kinda blah) but it rocks and android rules

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
I have two problems which may have already been mentioned but they are:
1. After my phone goes into lock for five minutes or more then I unlock it, the screen dims and I can't get it to come back even if I adjust the brightness. 2. SprintTV doesn't work Any solutions? |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
ok sometime in the last half hour it completely died. done, dead.
so battery lasted from roughly 9am to 2pm. 5 hours, i think thats close to previous versions. 2 phone calls, maybe 5 mins each, 4 text messages (2 sent, 2 received), 3 emails pushed, 5 mins of playing suduko (while drinking starbucks of course), 1 app downloaded from market, and 1 sync of emails, contacts, and calendar. thats about all i can think of. |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
9:30-5ish...so about 7.5 hrs for me...I sent out and received well over 150 txts...synced email probably about 10 times...played with the phones settings and checked battery usage probably 20 mins in all..
I'll really stress it 2nite..minus the automatic syncing. |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
so it looks like much of my battery went to the auto sync. looks like you used your phone more but had no push on. i used it less but with push on and my battery died faster. interesting.

And I don't think the ads should be a drain unless you leave the screen open to an app that has the ads running. They don't seem to update unless they're in the foreground. (Not 100% sure about this, but I'm trying to remain optimistic.) Quote:

...maybe this says more about me than about the phones themselves. |
