Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800) - PRE-ALPHA (not yet usable)

Wow, the 1/24 build is noticeably faster. This may actually be a viable alternative some day.

That file is created when you launch haret.

data.img is created by android, rootfs.img isn't the first XDA page had a updated rootfs because the GSM TPs where having wifi issues. It was removed because the problem seemed to be only on the first boot. So if you downloaded it you don't need it. Just use the one in the package.

I still can't get the eclair.user.conf to save as a .conf file. It just stays as a .txt even after I rename it. Anyone else have this problem. Everything else seems to work great accept for the touch screen...

Nevermind, I opened it with winrar and finally got it to change.

U should uncheck hide extension of known files under folder options. I think that allows u to rename it and change its files type.

Only problem with that build is the calendar does not work. CalendarProvider.apk won't install. So hopefully someone will have a fix for that soon.

I'm also using a customized eclair.user.conf, which has my personal screen settings, as computhug outlined in post 181. Ever since I followed those instructions, screen calibration has been almost flawless.
The newest system update posted by babijoee today has a working calendar.

Did you do the eclare.conf from the main post in the config directory? It helps with the calibration.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800) - PRE-ALPHA (not yet usable)

I downloaded the 24.01.10 build from XDA and used the startup file that came with it. I also got the 25.01.10 system.sqsh file from there. Now when i run haret.exe i get the following error that halts the boot sequence:

htc_pwrsink_set:STUB!
htc_pwrsink_set:STUB!
htc_pwrsink_set:STUB!
