Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
Not sure what the cause of the market installations failing is, but it's been happening to a number of people. Fresh data.img seems to have helped a few, dumb luck has helped a few others.
Video problems are, I believe, due to issues with blitting. I don't have a good enough handle on the issues with video rendering to really understanding what that means for the likelihood of a fix. |

To fix this, I think what I did was to download Stinebd's clean system.sqsh file (which contains the system files) build from 14.4.10 located here. Download it, rename it to system.sqsh and replace the system.sqsh on your sdcard. Delete your data.img file and reboot.

I agree, it would be nice to be able to isolate the specific issue that causes this... but I'm afraid by the time we figure it out, the EVO will be out

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
Just going to think out loud here...
Take a good running install and backup the data.img. Replace the rootfs wioth the newest and rebuild. Check to see if everything works. Switch back to original rootfs and check the latest zimage and see if that works. Repeat with everything else that has been updated. If everything works by itself, try again with replacing two things at a time. So on and so forth. I would do this but I don't have the time right now, fiance has been having some medical problems. |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
Just wanted to check back in and say that the 3/03->overwrite with 05/11 AIO workaround allowed me to boot these new versions for the first time... Thanks to everyone who keeps working on this... it's pretty great.
