Yeah, I have unsquash, but that involves booting into ubuntu lol. I don't feel like rebooting. And my laptop's...god knows where. If it starts to really get to me, I'll do that I guess.

Running 1/15, doing good.

There's windows versions of it too that work fine. I used them at work today to peek inside the system files :)

ftp://ftp.slax.org/useful-binaries/w...quashfs-tools/ <- Windows binaries

Tried the 1/15 version, but still no data for me - but a new system file is comin that will hopefully solve that too

You can't just click and drag it - you have to give it direction
It has to be something along the lines of ' mksquashfs "C:\New System\" system.sqsh '

That would re-compact the entire "New System" folder into the file "system.sqsh"

I can second no data on 1/14 or 1/15. Wehweh when you say it runs good do you mean you are getting a data connection? I ran 1/14 last night off my wifi at home and it was great but no CDMA data :-\

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800) - PRE-ALPHA (not yet usable)

The progress being made on this is amazing. I'm very excited to see this running on my phone, as it seems very very usable as is.

I'm interested in the small bugs of these CDMA devices, as the seem somewhat random. I'm wondering what it is about starting a call initially that makes it work in android, why the U key doesn't work.. little things like that. I'm probably going to take a peek at the code myself to see if I can figure anything out. Everything in these builds is GSM centric, no CDMA mentions anywhere, and I think that someone needs to start compiling against a more CDMA friendly source, not just in the kernel and such. I don't have any first hand knowledge on how to do this, but I'm sure once I start reading up it'll start to make sense.

Also, the developer of the main download on XDA said that he changed the APN list for this build, and in the next he will also include the old APNs merged with the new. I'm guessing this is why data doesn't work.
