Do you still have to do the trick of making a call before starting haret, to allow phone calls in Android?

so running the latest XDANDROID release from this morning, does anyone get data working?

I posted a page or so back that since the 1/14 update I haven't been able to get to data work (and yes, I am using the 1/10 kernel from here which worked wonderfully before). Someone else in the xda thread was having the same issue, but I haven't seen a response there yet.

anyone have a sure fire way to unlock the phone or answer calls? it's such a battle getting that slider to move over! especially with the newer 2.1 builds

i find if you use the stylus the touch screen works a lot better, otherwise i have the same problem.

Last.fm app has been working for me. As well as Pandora and googles Listen app. Listen and Last.fm work better for me than Pandora. Pandora seems to skip a lot.

Mark me up for this issue as well.

Yes, I usually just dial my voicemail & enter my pin. That keeps the call active long enough for the Android boot.

Got the 1/14 running pretty good now...the new rootfs babijoee posted made a HUGE difference for me. The only thing that's bothering me now is this new sms management app, handcent, that I can't get rid of since it doesnt show up in the manage apps menu and its not in the apps folder...

You could try using Unsquashfs to uncompress the system.sqsh file. All the app's are in the applications folder, then use makesquashfs to recompress it
