I wouldn't bother, unless you're having problems. Removing the data.img is functionally equivalent to hard resetting (though Android is a lot better at syncing up your data after a hard reset than WinMo is). It's sort of a hassle, and for minor changes like this, unwarranted.

For any new user who gets a line saying FAILED TO MOUNT after 10 seconds or so:
Even though you can type commands, WAIT. It is still working. I learned the hard way, formatting my card numerous times, thinking there was an issue. I had figured that nothing else was going to happen, but more scrolled by. Everything is not running yet, but that's because it has only been a couple of minutes. I will give it 15. EDIT: 5 minutes later I get a black screen. This is normal. WAIT. There is supposed to be something onn the screen normally, but this phone is running stuff it wasn't meant to. There are a couple of programs you can run before launching the exe that supposedly eliminates the black screen (one of them can be found here http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-...-hologram.html.) Also, depending on what version of the files you use, you may need to start a call (to your voicemail or something like moviefone) before launching the exe if you want people to hear you on calls while in android. |

ok the screen does seem a bit better but still getting the occasional 2nd or 3rd letter added on for me lol. but i seem to be fighting less with it to unlock it and things like that and it is definitally an improvement over previous versions.

There have been some reports of people not having luck with TF3D initializing the hardware. With the stock sprint rom, it's worked every time for me, though.
