Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800) - PRE-ALPHA (not yet usable)
anyone have a sure fire way to unlock the phone or answer calls? it's such a battle getting that slider to move over! especially with the newer 2.1 builds

Yeah... I press my phone hard key rather than using the slider...

LOL Thanks! I also found you gotta slide really fast with no hesitation. Still need to slide to unlock right?

I've been using the pattern to unlock lately. I'm easily amused, and it does what it's supposed to do... However, it does go a little wonky since the touchscreen is a bit more 'wild' with the newer kernel.

Just thought I'd add some input about audio apps like pandora and last.fm. Every time I run one or the other it'll get about 6 seconds into the song, then the phone reboots. Sigh. Oh well.

so running the latest XDANDROID release from this morning, does anyone get data working?

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800) - PRE-ALPHA (not yet usable)
Got the newest XDANDROID, dunno about data, but everything else seems as solid as the last build.
EXCEPT FOR THE KEYMAPPING. It was perfect, I don't see why it's so wonky now... Power management is flaky too. This thing is running kinda hot. Final edit: way too bothersome for me to deal with. Not that random reboots, slowdowns, and being sent back to the nexus boot are NEW or anything, but this latest build takes it OVER 9000. It was so bad for me, I don't even feel like sticking with it to iron out the problems. I'm just going back to the old one. They changed the keymap man... New touchscreen driver is up and running, and seems to be way less wild and flaky, which should help with the unlock problem. Buuuuuuut, I can neither get it correctly calibrated, nor get the calibration to stick after a reboot. So we're not quite there. |

Hey, in the startup.txt, change the "lcd.density=160" to ""lcd.density=240" touchscreen works better for me after i did that.
I'm was running donut and now im using eclair and it works great. |
