I am getting one! The TP2 is on backorder, but I will be getting the Touch Pro as a replacement and then I will be put on a waiting list for the TP2. Yay for calling and complaining so many times and finally finding a helpful customer service rep.

I got tech support to agree to replace my Touch Pro.... but all they had are the HTC Snap, Blackberry Curve, a Palm Pre...... or a 6th Touch Pro. The tech support rep was very nice but said it was going to be a VERY long time until they get any Touch Pro 2's.

My local Sprint store has a bunch of new ones, but I was told that they won't swap out my crappy TP for a new TP2.... anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Called a bit before, for issues not related to anything on this post. They don't have any TP2's available. The offered me the same phones as above. Ill think about it.

i called sprint tonite and they are sending me a refurb tp and i have a list of 16 issues. i have been running 9/25 update since release with spb. have been having probs for about a month. have been away from home just as long and wont be back til end of year (if jobs open up there, otherwize off to diff location). sprint confirmed there is no store within 50 miles of my location.

i'll take the refurb, but if the probs are the same i'll request a tp2

Sprint finally agreed to replace my TP! I got approval over the phone for a replacement phone.... They couldn't offer a TP2 on the phone because they are on back order.... so I went to the store, who looked up on my account that I was approved and voila.... they said my replacement TP2 would be overnighted to the store!!! I can't wait to get rid of this giant flaming turd ...a.k.a. Touch Pro.

im really debating leaving sprint, they wont budge with swapping out the phone.

You have to have legitimate issues, and you have to find a good customer service rep or a good in-store tech. Good luck!

Was upgraded to a TP2 today.
My screen failed on my tp and had other issues that had been a popping up. (Fail to disconnect calls, even though it appeared to... ect)
The repair center I took it to fixed my screen and put me on a list last friday for a TP2.
Their tech told me they were doing there best to get all of their TP users on TP2's.
They ordered it, called me today when it came in and swapped it out for me.
Including the repaired screen and 2 trips to the shop, I was there less than 20 minutes total.
