Look in your windows folder for IntShr.exe and IntShrUI.exe. The one that gets you into trouble is about 34kb in size. After you run the patch they should both be about 24kb in size.

hey, everybody - That'd be great to see a top post for most current news and updates from the chef's... there's a lot of info here.
Just looking and researching Tethering my laptop to my sprint TP2. So what cab is most current & effective for tethering w/out the surprise?

I have read throught the post and unable to find one answer. I have ICS and Wmodem cab on Sprint TP2 so no more 67 error, so do I need to install the hot fix (Mr._X_and_MightyMike_Tethering_Tracking_Hotfix.ca b)

This thread is old and the chefs here are all bleeding edge up to date with latest.

I believe all custom roms now are tethering safe.
I would also say all have internet sharing app.
Most all have wifi router as well.
Go flash a custom rom and be happy.

I flashed Mighty Rom, but I was till getting 67 error. I installed ICS and Wmodem cab and stopped getting the error. Now, I don't know whether I have to install the hot fix or not?

Is there a OEM package or EXT package we can install to be damn sure? I use PPCK to cook, but I'd rather be safe then sorry.
