Try dotfred's task manager if you haven't already. You can monitor CPU usage & see exactly which programs are using up the most power. You can also disable CMguardian w/it too.

Re: battery problem.. constantly over 300 mA discharge... Program to monitor battery

update. uninstalled S2U2 and my battery lasted the entire weekend. My gf's phone (with S2U2 Installed) on the otherhand lasted less then a day with the same amount of usuage as me. I made sure that her phone had almost the exact same settings as me (WIFI, Bluetooth, MyPhone Sync, Gmail Sync, and TF3D weather Sync.)

Maybe it was something in the settings of S2U2 or maybe a conflict with another program. I have NuePower installed on both phones, and I honestly haven't noticed anything that it would have caused it to drain my battery. I uninstalled her S2U2 on Sunday and both batteries lasted all day and had alot left in them by night's end. She was happy with that.

Yeah I had problems with s2u2 also. Its notorious for causing battery drain.

Re: battery problem.. constantly over 300 mA discharge... Program to monitor battery

I don't have s2u2... in the task manager though I can't kill the opera process? maybe this is a cause? I have the rapid charge thing installed but when my phone is plugged into a computer it says the current charge isn't strong enough or wahtever to charge the phone... I've even flashed over to mightyrom but that didn't help.

shouldn't it be well under 100 if I'm completely idle after a soft reset?

Yes, you should be under 100, under 70 or so ideally. You've definitely got something going on there.

Read your article on that blog about tips to extent the battery life of our TP2's, it was very informative. I tried out the "hard battery reset" and it seems to help a lot. What I was wondering is does this need to be done everytime a ROM is flashed, or is it just a one time fix?

Also, what other processes do you think can be adding to this additional drain? The main CPU loading I am noticing is some "idle process" thing. Thanks!

Re: battery problem.. constantly over 300 mA discharge... Program to monitor battery

Seems to me that hitting the top button to put the device in standby doesn't actually do so... the battery drains just as fast with the screen off as it does on... This is a pain in the *** but if you could take a look at my running processes and compare them with the people that have GREAT battery life I'd like to narrow down the problem... Running processes:

USSD (APP8

Also, it's weird but it seems like (using battlog) that the phone actually uses MORE battery life when I turn the screen off... any guesses why that might be?
