What Rom is going to be your first to upload to your TP2? As for me, I have already downloaded NRG's ROMS. Always enjoyed them on my TP. Also want to try the other Sense UI ROMS as well. MM's got my curiousity piqued!!

ive got juicys rom and a couple kitchens ill use to cook my own rom with just the things i want in it

Hey Beananimal. I understand your point of view.
However, I am not the one who is expecting donations, asking for donation, or claiming to be the almighty coder in this situation.

If you are implying someone coming forward and squashing their attempt to be the only unlocker team for this device, well that's childish too. There are other people capable of doing it, it's a big planet.

Maybe I should piss off even more people by stating that maybe I have put together a small team of developers, a software engineer, a physicist, and 2 well renowned hackers to give it a go. They will refuse donations and give no promises or expected release of a usable HSPL. However, they take the challenge seriously and would be glad to beat others to it. Again, they will charge nothing, expect nothing, and yes, they have lives too and they sleep. Expect nothing, promise nothing and everything else is a bonus!!!!

I hope you people hold the ROM chefs to these same standards. Because in all honesty some of them make big claims and still turn out crap. Reminds me of script kiddies who call themselves hackers. OH gosh, I'm sorry, I forgot, we are not allowed to insult anyone's ROM because they are providing a free service out of the kindness of their heart.

thats why i make my own roms. imho I think everyone should learn how, its soooo simple. with the visual kitchen anyone can make their own roms and upload what ever sys they want. if they want a stable sys go with that or if you want to venture on the new and exciting changes you have that option. the only way anyone will truely be happy is if they create their own.

No but you have decided to allow a person or group of people to do the work for you. That means you are at their mercy. If you were a paying customer, then a contract is implied and you would have a reason to gripe about missed release dates or lack of cummunication or support.

Don't get me wrong, it can be frustrating to wait for something you want and I understand that. But the number of rather childish rants on the subject that I have read are laughable and very indicitive of today's mentality. "I want it now and I want it the way I want it and I want somebody else to provide it for me or I will have a fit".

How can one "team" squash the attempt? If you have the skills and/or resources, then you have the skills and/or resources.

beananimal i don't understand what your point has been. are you one of the people posting it will be out when its out? obviously you and everyone else that keeps posting that is only adding to fire. if you really cared and wanted them to stop you would just open that thread and close it when you found out its more people complaining. by you arguing with them you're no better nor are you right. So let people who want to complain complain, which is why they created their own thread instead of highjacking another. you're saying go create your own then, why would someone do that when its already done and they have donated to that project?

I swear some of you folks are as bad as the Apple nuts who sit outside of a store for 30 hours waiting for a product release.

It will be out when it's out. Might be today...Might be tomorrow...Might be next week...Let them work on it in peace so they can get out a solid product. I'm sure you would be unpleased if they said fine, it's out since you are so impatient...And then come to find it bricks 30% of devices.

Let them work, quit making dumb threads about "losing faith" or "'I'm gonna cry if it's not out" it's ridiculous.
