tp2 custom roms never come with a radio. you only need to security unlock if you are going to flash an unlocked radio, which is only needed for when you sim unlock and want to use U.S. gsm carriers.

ohh thanks..
is it correct that newer radios usually have better reception, call quality, and etc?.. if my radio is fine, should i upgrade my radio to get better reception, and etc? or should i leave it since it isn't broken? |

not true. it's possible that the oldest radio is best for you. only way to find out is to flash them all and see which is best for you. once you're hard spl unlocked, you can try out any of the radios in the radio thread. and it only takes a minute to flash them and it doesn't erase everything, like flashing a custom rom does. and if they don't help any, then just flash the original one back on your phone.
