I already have that cab installed, and the phone does not turn on when you open the keyboard. However, what the above post states, and what I can replicate is that this registry change does not work with the stock 6.5 screen lock.

The stock screen lock for Windows Mobile 6.5...better? The point was that I am not using s2u2 or any 3rd party screen locker.

It seems these phones will come out of standby for unknown reasons at times, not just while in the case
