My TP1 crapped out on me today (unknown battery level, wouldn't get past the home screen on boot - even when plugged in) and the local repair shop explained that I could get the TP2 as a replacement. Of course, I got my hopes up only to be denied - none in store or at the warehouse. I'm getting another TP1 tomorrow. Guess I'll try again in a week or so

I know but they always help and usually delegate to a lower rep but they are much higher than anything else.

I got mine replaced and supposedly ordered today after a long drawn out fight with the store and retentions. I eventually emailed ecare yesterday afternoon and got a call first thing this morning.
Was told to call back with a claim validation number to 866-954-0492 and after 2 calls back and forth agrees to avoid going to the store as its an inconvience to me and just renewed my contract for 2 years (1 year through after renewed last year for TP) in exchange to get a TP2 for no cost. I don't know if they are sending a return kit for my TP or not though. I'm not down for the contract renewal but I have been with Sprint for 9 years with 4 lines and wasn't going anywhere anyway. |

i got "the offer" at the tech store. get really excited to hear they were gonna order me a tp2. then . not available at the warehouse. -_-
