Really would like a PDA version that also has TTS working as well. Right now I have the PNA version working with TTS perfectly. But not being able to look up any of my contacts is annoying. But given the choice, I pick TTS over Contacts integration. But it would be nice to have both.

Re: How to get iGo8 run on TP2 with TTS enable and 2009 NA Maps (step by step guide)
I am using the PDA version. One issue I found with TTS was that the files for US voices were named as PNA while the System.ini file in the "save" folder was calling for PDA versions.
[local] voice_key="tts_loq_eng_us_f1" voice_path_hint="voice\Voice_TTS-loq-eng-us-f1.zip" language_lcid="1033" language_key="english US" lang_path_hint="lang\Lang_English-us_Pda.zip" timeformat="1" dateformat="11" I copied an older voice file I had that was named with PDA and everything started working just fine. At some point I may change the .ini file, but not until every other tweak is working flawlessly.

Re: How to get iGo8 run on TP2 with TTS enable and 2009 NA Maps (step by step guide)
Ok guys I had installed this on my device the other day and now I have a few questions. The way I installed it was doing an auto run and this was under the 2477 folder. I tried to go into the igo folder to find the exe file but it wasn't showing up as exe. I knew what the program file was but whenever I clicked it said something like there is no program to open this so thats why I did the autorun program. However when I took my card out and deleted it I cant run Igo8 because I guess it wasn't installed onto my device but on the memory card. Can anyone tell me how to install it to my device then.

I followed the steps in the first and second posts and have TTS working on TP2, in fact everything except TMC(traffic radio) works as its expected. iGo8 and maps are the same exact version as the threadstarter mentioned, so just follow the steps and you'l be set. And i do like it more than TomTom PDA version although at first it sure looks a lot more complex but its a good thing since it gives you more options over TT
