I am using the PDA version. One issue I found with TTS was that the files for US voices were named as PNA while the System.ini file in the "save" folder was calling for PDA versions.

I copied an older voice file I had that was named with PDA and everything started working just fine. At some point I may change the .ini file, but not until every other tweak is working flawlessly.
