Am I:
1) using the install as in post 1 with the unzipped file in /content/skin
2) font folder in root
3) using the sys.txt file in the first post
what am I missing here?? thanks
For some reason, I couldnt get the Dimka skin working with the latest version of iGo either. It showed up in the skin selection window, but when applied, it reverted back to the original iGo8 skin. I pretty much just gave up on it and went with GJ skin. Its a very nice look, plus the 'extensions' or 'plugins' also provided by the author works well and is pretty cool too.

Can you post it please?
The package was already taken down when I tried to download it, so I cant confirm wether or not there is a sys.txt included in it. Have you tried using the one in the first post?

I think one in the first post was only for the other skin, I failed during boot (for the igo using the sys.txt from post 1.

Thumbs up Re: How to get iGo8 run on TP2 with TTS enable and 2009 NA Maps (step by step guide)

As for the sys.txt in the second post, and the skin in the second post, they don't work together. I used the sys.txt from the first post and it worked beautifully with the skin from the second post!

3) Voice folder with files in igo8\content
Yes I have done this. I have even installed the SSK tp2 dynamic resource and the other memory program. I was still only able to get the voices to work one time? Is there any other things I can possibly do to get voices to work? Maybe at something to the sys.txt or download different voices?

Re: How to get iGo8 run on TP2 with TTS enable and 2009 NA Maps (step by step guide)

Since nobody wanted to help me or anybody else who had problems going into landscape mode (why I don't know), I took the time to make a sys.txt that will allow you to run iGo in landscape.

Unfortunately it will only work in landscape which is fine with me because I don't think I ever want to run it in portrait anyway.

I'm sure it can be made better but I don't know much about this so that's as good as I could make it.

Have not yet tested tts with this so if it doesn't work don't blame me, but if it worked before it should work now. Let me know if you have any probs.
