I've added this to my sys.txt file, you may want to try it.

Thanks for this detailed guide. But I had a hard time to get this skin to work. The skin button was grey all the time. After a few retries, finally figure out what is wrong. There is no GJ6.12.p_da_800x480.zip in this linked file. Only one GJ6.12.p_da.zip in skin dir which does not support 800x480. You have to download the 800x480 zip file directly from http://www.gurjon.com/ and put into the skin directory. Please fixed this in the #2 post to help others as well.

thanks for this..does it need to be renamed to GJ6.12.p_da.zip? because i tried it but it still keeps the SKIN greyed out for me. I still can't get my skin to work properly. I can post my sys.txt file if needed. BTW- I still can't get the CARs to work...ugh

Re: How to get iGo8 run on TP2 with TTS enable and 2009 NA Maps (step by step guide)

I cannot get this to work. I have tried everything in this thread and NOTHING works for my device. I am starting to think it is the AT&T Tilt 2 ROM that is preventing me from succeeding.

I tried everything in the first post, tried stopping TF3D, NoPushInternet_v2.CAB, SSK TP2 Dynamic Resource Proxy.cab, htcAddicts cleanRAM v1.8.zip... and still no TTS.

I know the TTS works, because I can still put the SD card into my Tilt (Kaiser) and get TTS. I just cannot get it to work on the Tilt 2. It also does not work on my wife's Tilt 2 (HTC TP2).

Thanks

If your problem is only TTS function not working properly, I wouldn't complain too much about it.

How much ram is free when you have the program on? It should have about 12x free when I read.

I thought voice directions as you drive is kinda the reason to have iGO? Well, that's my reason.

I have about 119mb free after a soft-reset, and 93mb with iGO running... is this my problem?

Kinda crappy that the original Tilt can run the TTS, but my new Tilt2 cannot.

the older version of Igo8 had problems with the TTS. the TTS voices had to be installed, then the the software would have to be unistalled, then reinstalled. for those of you having problems, use a similar method. Once the TTS voices are installed, then recopy all the other iGO info back to your card and over wright what was there (other than the maps). It worked like a charm for me. I'm not having any TTS problems anymore.

let me know if that works for anyone.
