Re: Severe Battery drain issues

Freeza, the less power intensive systems is the Window device lock and S2U2 is the most complete solution. I tried the other two you mention but really did not fit my routine or needs.

However the reason I did the testing on S2U2 is I was surprised that an application could drain the battery that much

Re: Severe Battery drain issues

That's odd because I never have such a problem. Every now and then you just get a dud. I came from the original pro and must say that the difference between the batteries of the two are notable. I had an extended life battery for the first one and my pro 2's battery does about the same. Hate that you're having trouble.

Re: Severe Battery drain issues

Once the "battery low" warning comes on, how long should it take to recharge the battery fully when connected to wall power? It takes around 2 hours for me...does that seems quick? I am one of the people that does not get the same battery life many of you claim...could it be my battery is not calibrated correctly? Is there a way to "recalibrate"?

Yes, Yes, a thousand times yes.

It's a shame because I really like S2U2. A great program, but I just can't run it on my phone. And I did ALL the battery tweaks. No weather updates, no agenda updates, no information at all, just the straight slide unlock.

Seems to be killing my battery as well. Got a replacement one, still no dice. I only get about 14 hours of life with moderate browsing, exchange email and gmail updating every 5 min.

You think? I have tried a replacement battery and no luck. I hear all these stories of people's TP2's lasting all day under very heavy use, and I can never make it more than 16 hrs under moderate use without the phone turning off.

Re: Severe Battery drain issues

Are you using S2u2 mj? I did some browsing, watched you tube videos, listened to MP3s for a couple of hours and did a good amount of texting from about 12 - 10 yesterday and ended with like 65% of my battery or so left.

Re: Severe Battery drain issues

I have very good battery life and this is constant mp3 and text use, synced with exchange set as items arrive, bluetooth, and no battery tweaks. I just got it two days ago though. I fully charged it before I activated and let it die completely before the next charge.
