If you do, simply navigate to your phone number and go to activate a new phone. If you put in the ESN of any sprint phone you get the MSL as well as MSID, etc, etc.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong
try to do an esn swap online while the phone is still activated on your account will give you an error. and also who wants to keep swapping devices. and for those who got the msl grabber to work are you using bafs or a different one. This was the only method i could find to work currently. and yes normally i click activate manually and then write it down this time i got the phone pre activated and i didnt feel like emailing or calling sprint. but hey when your out and about and wanna play with your phone and you have to sit on hold with sprint youll understand. of if your someone like me who has perks and discounts and worries anytime you call sprint they like to screw with your account.

you're not wrong. for any n00b reading this thread. IMO sign up for a sprint acct. it's thousands of times easier than reg edits. i personally have done both and keep my MSL on file, but for the n00bs out there looking for a quick fix. sign into mySprint. click Chat. wait a few sec for an E-rep ask for your programming codes. wam bam thank you, maam.

Re: How To Find Sprint MSL

good deal bagz

this is the same method we used on the qwest moguls...at least i did b4 i had workshop

anywho- if baf's works for some and not others, then there has to be something causing the error...i'm sure the tp2 comes stock with .net cf 3.5, but i could be mistaken

if not, i'm sure baf will update soon

glad to hear you got your **** straight though

btw- for all the noobtastic folks here that don't know...many time getting the msl/spc from sprint is not an option because the esn/meid is bad...but thanks for that input

Re: How To Find Sprint MSL

When I was activating my phone 2 weeks ago I casually asked the activation guy for the MSL during the programming. He gave it to me no questions asked.

Re: How To Find Sprint MSL

what is "CDMA workshop", and where do I get it? also, when I dial ##3424, or ##3424#, nothing happens on my phone. does unlocking the MSL allow me to access ##3424? thanks.
