Did anyone notice that you can order the Touch Pro 2 normally if you go through the Smartphone Resource Center?

I noticed that too (cool website btw) but there was no way to buy it without a new line of service, and I kind of wonder if the order would actually go through, because they didn't show ANY of their phones as being out of stock. I'm assuming once you hit the buy button there would be an I'm sorry we're out of stock email.

After hearing some people report the TP2 was in stock (in limited amounts), I decided to try to "trick" verizon's website into letting me place the order.

After looking at how the site's coding worked, I was successful in placing an order for the TP2. I was obviously quite excited!

However, I received an e-mail from verizon within 5 minutes stating that the order has been cancelled since the phone is currently out of stock.

Dang it!!!

I'm really getting frustrated with not being able to buy the Verizon TP2. What's even more BS is they claim to have no idea when they're getting them.

Somebody at Verizon knows when they're getting more from the manufacturer and that should be communicated to the CS Reps so they can communicate it to us so that we have a time frame to look forward to instead of calling in every day.

I have been trying for 3 days to get one through a friend. He has searched 4 warehouses and all US stores, there are NONE.

The HTC Imagio is looking nice, just no hardware keyboard....
