VZW sold out of TP2? - Page 17

Hi all. Frustrated Blackberry user trying to jump ship. My 4th Storm and my wife's 5th have failed (shocking) and VZW was nice enough to offer us Touch Pro 2's as a replacement (with a little prodding). Unfortunately that was 3 days ago and they have yet to find one to ship. I'm on code red with their high level customer care (which has been awesome) and they can't get them for us. The mrs has decided to go Imagio but I really want a real Keyboard.

As an aside, been researching the TP2 the last couple days here and am thrilled by the scope with which you can customize and tweak everything. While we had hybrid OS's and such on the berries, this is a whole new world.

So, are we still clueless as to when more TP2s will be available through verizon? I really want to get on this, but they won't let me upgrade while it is out of stock even if I am willing to wait.

Welcome to the group.

Just about any headache you find can be tweaked or fixed usually, just do a lot of searching in case it's already been listed.

i was thinking the same thing when i went to the site. i went to look at the htc diamond2, and i see that THAT phone comes stock with 6.5 i really should of asked but i was sorta excited with that answer i forgot

Thanks for the kind welcome. I'll have my wife's Imagio tomorrow. I can't wait to start learning this thing. I talked with the exec cust service department again tonight when they verified the Imagio was on its way. Still nothing official from this gentleman on the TP2, but that may not mean much.

I called verizon early in the morning on the way to work yesterday. and I guess I got super lucky! they had one available. It's in the middle of shipping atm. I'll have it at my door tommorow.. super excited

Just decided to let you guys know...my TouchPro2 is confirmed! I got it yesterday (came to my desk while I was at a conference, so didn't get it until today).

I did indeed get a TouchPro2. Dunno what to tell you guys other than to keep calling and asking.
