Sprint 'MIGHT' match Verizon's $199 Price - Page 5

I keep getting run around about how sprints "plan" is saving me more money in the long run.. That Verizon phones are cheaper but their plans are more expensive. Ive called twice and they were not able to do anything for me. I want the TP2 for 2 hundy!!!! GOSH!!

I tried many times before and all failed. I just called retention after reading this thread and wow I got $150 credit to my acct in a few days.
I paid $350 - $150 = $200

I will try to send in the rebate and might get another $100. TP2 for $100?

I love to be with Sprint. got good deal almost every 2 years.

After a lot of ordeal, I had a guy that I emailed from ecare call me, and flat out said since I had SERO, that my plan costs $360 a year and I couldn't get that deal at Verizon, so they wouldn't price match.

Didn't budge even a little.. I'm considering sending it back before the 30 days and trying again.

I don't know, there's just been a lot of people getting the TP2 for $199 $149 or free, even people on my plan. I can't even get my rebate instant? I've been run around over this phone, it's taken weeks just to resolve a pixel issue, I'm afraid what happens when my new one is garbage too. Time is money and I've spent a lot already with this phone. I'm really considering returning the phone before my 30 days.

I know Sprint has cheaper plans, but does that stop Sprint from offering the Pre for $99 or Hero for $179? Does the TP2 have 3 and a half times more expensive materials than the Pre or 2x that of the Hero?

Please understand the frustration.

Just got off the phone with Retentions. Got the speech about Verizon having more expensive plans....

I was as nice as could be. Ill try again tomorrow. I really want to stick with Sprint..

just got mine ordered through retentions and they were more then happy to give me the 199 price. told them that a friend just called me and said that he got this price and they ordered it right away and billed it to my account so i could pay it when i get the money in my hand. excited!!!!!!!!!!!

wow thats crazy, I just got the phone with Sprint and now they tellin me they cant give me the phone for $199 and this is at 7:30 tonight. I talked to them at 2 pm today and they told me they would do it and now they tellin me a different story! I talked to a supervisor and he said I would have to pay 449 up front and they will credit the rest to my account to make it look like I paid 449 so I said no thats not what I was told and he said well either take that or you can go to another provider. Sprint just lost my respect... what you think I should do?

Exactly what I got!!! Seems like we need to call at a later date.

They did offer me free addition to my plan. Fav 3 thing - kinda like the fav 5 but i told them i wasn't interested. I want a TP2!!

As far as I know, it won't match for SERO only. Other plan they are willing to price match. Let me know if u able to get it with SERO.

Sorry fellows I called back to back cuz I didnt like my results but the first time I called I told them I went to Verizon and talked to them and they offered it to me for 199 plus a discount bcuz of the company I work for plus another discount for porting my number and then it was a done deal bcuz she said they will match it and give it to me for the same price with 150 credit to my account. I called back 4 hours later to see if it was noted on my account and it was so I asked them can I get over nite shipping and thats when the story changed on me... Now they tell me to pay 449 and they and theyll credit my account 150... crazy rite?
Call back and now they sayin they can give it to me but I have to upgrade my contract and start over... My contract is over in Feb when all the good stuff come out so I dont know, what do u think I should do? Am I done negotiating?
