Update: After a 25 minute phone call, was told that there will be a billing inquiry sent in and I should hear back within 72 hours if they can credit the account. This is the first I have heard of that response on this forum. Am I out of luck? Last edited by pepsico; 09-26-2009 at 11:45 AM. |

I called retentions, put on hold for about 7 minutes, came back, told me that Sprint's plans are cheaper than Verizon, and that over 2 years, I'd save much more. I just hungup on the guy. I'll wait to see if the price actually does go down, as rumored, on Oct 1, but won't hold my breath for Sprint matching it even then, without any grief.

Just got off the phone with sprint rep. Told her I am calling becuase i want to upgrade to TP2, but sprint's price is double then verizon's and I may leave sprint 'cuzI dont think its worth double to stay with sprint. She gave me bs bout how much i am saving being on sero plan. I was firm and she spoke to her supervisor and gave me 299-100 rebate so final would be 199 plus taxes on 299. The way they calculate taxes is weird. It should come out to be $324.xx for NYC but the total somehow was 339.xx. I am not sure why $15 more. I was told she waived the upgrade fee and also shipping charges. I will email them i guess asking for explanation.

Im glad I did mines early yesterday up until 8pm lastnite cuz it seem like they are catchin on and yall luck is running out but at the end of the day I pay $249 up front and I get a $100 credited to my account and then I get a $100 rebate so that knocks it down to $99 dollars but the only bad thing is that they are trying to get me to extend my contract but I got a solution for that tho.
Im gonna call next week to get the phone and tell them I dont want it cuz of the extension on the contract and at the end of the call they ask have they help u and Im gonna say no and once you do that they will do anything to get u to say problem resolved. You just gotta know what to say. |
