The screen surface is not 100% flat

Today, after playing with nfs game, i realised that the screen surface is not completely flat, but more swarfed in the edges, whereas the middle of the screen is more elevated

i couls see it only with light reflection

did i push too strongly with the screen boutons of nfs, of is it due to the touch flo 3d area, with is more solicited ?

Is the screen supposed to deform slightly with time due to the stylus and finger pressure ?

I have also noticed my screen is not flat. for example when I push the on screen space bar i can feel the screen go down.

Still, without touching the screen, when you see the screen in profile, you can actually see that in the touch flo zone is deeper...???!!!

Is than an issue or usual in touch screens ?

Because the phone was designed to be placed flat on the screen for conference calls, I'm going to just guess they made the outside area of the screen slightly higher than the middle to prevent scratching or other damage to the screen while it's being used as a speaker phone. Whether it was by design or it just happened that way is another question though.

Absolutely no. LCD screens are flat. Period. Remember the stuck pixels? Everyone seems to have them, this is due to s inferior LCD screen HTC put on these things. Sad indeed.

the screen do deform when you touch it, the screen is not that RIGID

lol.. all resistive screens have flex.... it register input through pressure........ obviously the bigger the screen, the more flex you're gonna get. as far as the screen not being flat, it is... what you're describing is not the screen, it's the area beyond the screen.
