Re: The screen surface is not 100% flat

Because the phone was designed to be placed flat on the screen for conference calls, I'm going to just guess they made the outside area of the screen slightly higher than the middle to prevent scratching or other damage to the screen while it's being used as a speaker phone. Whether it was by design or it just happened that way is another question though.
