Re: WMWiFiRouter on TP2
I have it running on my Verizon TP2 without an issue. I installed ICS first because I assumed Verizon wouldn't have included it in the stock build. WM Wifi Router requires ICS . . . maybe that's missing?

Re: WMWiFiRouter on TP2
FWIW, I didn't need to install ICS or anything else on my VZW TP2 - it apparently has it to begin with. Installed WMWiFiRouter without problem, and works great!

Re: WMWiFiRouter on TP2
WMWiFiRouter is an awesome program, I have used it since my xv6800 days.
When I got my original TP, I had all kinds of problems with the free version but upgrading to the latest version that they came out with specifically to fix some of the issues I was having worked super. Version 1.52 installed & worked immediately in my new TP2 with no issues whatever. ~John |

Re: WMWiFiRouter on TP2
Can someone please explain to me what the purpose of a (any) wifi router type program is?
I use ICS over USB regularly to go online on my laptop when there is no wireless or LAN available. If the wifi router programs need a wifi connection to start with why are they needed instead of just connecting the laptop itself to the wifi connection? Thanks. |
