I had a Treo Pro before my TP2 and didn't have a problem with TT6 on the Pro. I was running TT6 on my 750 before that and have gotten very comfortable with it. I am so glad I have an option again.

I'll give it more extensive testing this weekend.

I turned off the 3d in map settings and went to 2d and everything sped back up and I have no lag on vzw.

click on the screen,then change preferences,then hit the arrow 2 times then on the top right corner it says turn on 2d display

So I'm curious whats the difference between TomTom 2d and Google maps? I like the 3d but if you go 2d, would it not be better just going for the free google?

Yes, it does seem that GPSGate does help substantially. It's not optimal performance, but it is usable and significantly improved.

GPSGate is easy. Once it get the GPS signal, it turn green. You have to configure it to have a virtual output port.

Then this is the port you want to use for all your apps. Just point to it and thats it.

I forgot if HTC fix it and I didnt need to use GPSGate anymore with the Mogul.

Then I went to Treo 800w and now I am using my Treo Pro and I never have to use GPSGate.
