LOL Yah man. I love big big beef cake slap on two buns.

Anyone not going to try GPSGate?

I could almost get a new TP2 for $390 now. But not yet pull the trigger.

Re: TomTom is really slow!

i keep reading 2d and 3d drivers or its too slow..

well i've been using garmin since my 6800 and it worked perfect on that phone. once i got my tp1 i got the 200yrd lag and its the same thing with the tp2. I even get the lag with sprint navigation so i am hoping that 6.5 will fix this issue

Re: TomTom is really slow!

Wahoo!!

I loaded GPSGate and was just out driving around the neighborhood, to the grocery store, etc. and TT7 works great! Little to no lag. This is awesome! I had given up on TT because I was getting 15-20 seconds of lag regardless of what registry edits or other hacks I did. I had bought another program but wasn't happy with it. Now I can go back to TT.

Thanks to Chong67 we have a working solution for TT7 on TP2 (at least its works on my VZ model). Hopefully everyone has the same experience as me.

Guess I'm investing in GPSGate - its a great tool.

Re: TomTom is really slow!

See what I told you guys ?????

I thought you all know this!

It has the same problem as the Mogul. I thought HTC would know better by now.

I have the Treo Pro now that HTC made and never have this problem.

So I dont know what is on HTC mind.

Re: TomTom is really slow!

I downloaded it directly (.cab) from my TP2 by going to www.gpsgate.com.

http://franson.com/gpsgate/download....platform=winxp

I downloaded, installed it, and ran the wizard. I then configured the GPS in TT7 as Other NMEA, 4800 baud and selected Franson Com3.
