origionally 450 with 100 dollar mail in rebate= 350 Then after fifth time of trying to get them to match with verizon and threatening to go to verizon they credited my account to match verizons price of 199.00. I just got the right person plus i think it was able to be done because i have a corporate plan with sprint.

I paid $0.00.
My TP1 was givin me "problems," so i took it in to the store in a very polite, disgruntled fashion. The next day my TP2 was ready for pick up.

$0 warranty replacment (TP1 uneven D-pad and chipped chrome) and they gave me the old Touch Pro back too.

Other than the pain and suffering and lost hours of productivity of over two months of being shipped faulty refurbished TP1s? Absolutely zero. And as cool as the TP2 is, Verizon should have paid me to make it even.

Full price for sprint plus got charged shipping & another activation fee (after they told me if i ordered by lunch time that day, they would have it at the store by the following day). But ended up getting those charges reversed because told CSR i was never informed of being charged for the shipping and should not get dinged twice on activation...i switched from a defective bb tour and the store couldn't get replacement after 3 weeks.

Tried getting retention to price match but was turned down. I was told that i get the corporate discount but don't have a corporate account. oh well.

well.... to start off i was given a mogul from a friend that hated it with a passion. replaced that about 8 times (white spots, dead batteries, dead refurbs) before asurion upgraded me to a touch pro (sprint credited me back the 50 dollars for the claim). went through about 5 touch pros before i read on here about sprint upgrading touch pros to touch pro2 and was having issues with mine anyways. took it to the store, no questions asked, no bs, 2 days later i had a touch pro2.... so all in all, my tp2 was FREE.

and after having a 6800, 6900, back to a 6800, 6850 this tp2 is by FAR the absolute best htc device i have owned (yet)

Yeah five was the total TPs I had to endure, as well.

so its been a few days since i posted how i got my TP2 for free. Im very happy with the phone no problems at all even with the stock ROM it handled very nice and smooth, but i still when with a 6.5 ROM cause i like having my current location weather not just major city's.

It was strange not seeing an easy access SOFT RESET button and i was not liking the idea of having to take the back cover off every time, but thank fully HTC did a good job with the touch pro2 and i haven't had to use such feature.

If i do ever need to start using the soft reset button i guess i can drill a small hole on the side of the battery cover.



GOOD JOB HTC WITH THE TP2.
