You can tell them the competion Verizon is selling it for $199.99 after $100 rebate. That you like to continue doing business with a price match. Which means Sprint will sell theirs too for $299.99 minus $100 rebate = $199.99 price match. The only problem is that Verizon doesn't have pricing on their website yet, according to some threads it will be up either on the 11th or 15th. Some have reported the price match now even though is not up so you can try it but will probably be more successful when there's proof on the verizon site so you can send the link. Email them now with the 'contact us ' bottom, wait for their email reply before mentioning price match that way it's easier to talk numbers and send the link. If you are feeling lucky, after you get price match tell them that you also have a $25 coupon code, it's "254YOU". If they also accept this code you paid $175 after rebate for your Touch Pro2. http://www.nextel.com/en/stores/popups/order_conf_25_credit_promo.shtml If you refer friends/family to Sprint also they are giving you $50 visa debit card, and your friends/family $25 visa debit card. http://www.sprint.com/landings/refrewards/ $175 minus $50 debit card = $125 for your Touch Pro2 but this is a best case scenario. good luck Last edited by Rippa_MD; 09-09-2009 at 12:01 PM. |

Re: sprint touch pro 2 ORDERED!!
Ordered my Pro2 at 9:30am today over the phone with a credit card. They applied the amount as credit to my account. Now my account is showing a credit for the amount of my purchase. I am assuming that when it shipped that my account will be debit for that amount.
Has this happened to anyone else? Still no tracking #. I have just the order # with overnight shipping |

Re: sprint touch pro 2 ORDERED!!
Tried to order the TP2 through Telesales, told me it was $599 with $150 instant rebate plus a $100 mail-in rebate. Then the nice woman said wait, you have Unlimited Vision on your plan and you will have to add a $30/month power pack to get the $100 MIR. I told them politely to shove it.
Seriously Sprint, when you are trying to sell a phone to someone you wouldn't sell it to on the 3rd because your records show I'm not a Premier Customer, even though we have had Sprint since 1989 through our land-line and then added SPCS lines back in the '90s and my voicemail message itself is 10 years old on my line, don't screw me around and tell me I have to change my plan to get the $100 MIR. ESPECIALLY when the contracts on all three lines we have just expired and you charged me $51 last month for a 10 minute international call after my $4 International Calling add-on mysteriously disappeared and shows it was canceled in March of 2008. And they can't figure out why they can't keep customers. |

Re: sprint touch pro 2 ORDERED!!
I am waiting for 10/01 which will be my date for full upgrade price. I got the TP1 and did not get rebate. I would like to have this bigger screen now. The TP1 was better because it was sharper. Being in attic, under houses or in work truck it is still a little hard to use.My vision is not as good as when I was younger 20/10.

Re: sprint touch pro 2 ORDERED!!
Got eCare chat to guarantee me the $100 rebate after arguing that adding the Pro Pack made no sense, since it's adding $30/month to my bill when I already get everything it includes for free on my Unlimited vision. I had to argue though. And I saved the chat if Sprint tries to renege on it.

Re: sprint touch pro 2 ORDERED!!
I just ordered yesterday afternoon and UPS says I will get it tomorrow--I can't wait!
![]() Here is my deal and current plan: I asked them to match Verizon's price, but he refused, and said he could only offer an extra $50 off--saying their network is so great, blah, blah, blah-I politely pointed out they are the only carrier that does not have 3G in my area and have told me it is around the corner since I signed up. The retentions guy eventually was able to give $100 instant credit for being a sprint customer for 9 years in addition to the $150 instant credit, bringing price after MIR to $250. They also gave me an additional 500txt/line for $1 extra/line(had 100 txt/line) and after he pointed out I still had to pay tax I asked for free shipping and activation and got it. I did get him to confirm that I was eligible for MIR, although because I do not have the expensive PDA add on I am afraid I may need to call back and complain to get it--I got his name and CSR number just in case. My plan: Two line plan with 2000 shared anytime minutes, unlimited internet, 100 txts/line(now 500 or 600), free N & W after 9p, and free roaming. $90/mo - 20% corp. discount(from prev. employer)= $72/mo + taxes, fees, & insurance. Looking back now, I think I probably could have got a bigger discount if I had pushed them harder and longer, but as designed, I was tired of it all (took over an hour of being on and off hold, being transferred, etc. ![]() |
