Re: sprint touch pro 2 ORDERED!!

I just ordered yesterday afternoon and UPS says I will get it tomorrow--I can't wait!

Here is my deal and current plan:

I asked them to match Verizon's price, but he refused, and said he could only offer an extra $50 off--saying their network is so great, blah, blah, blah-I politely pointed out they are the only carrier that does not have 3G in my area and have told me it is around the corner since I signed up. The retentions guy eventually was able to give $100 instant credit for being a sprint customer for 9 years in addition to the $150 instant credit, bringing price after MIR to $250. They also gave me an additional 500txt/line for $1 extra/line(had 100 txt/line) and after he pointed out I still had to pay tax I asked for free shipping and activation and got it. I did get him to confirm that I was eligible for MIR, although because I do not have the expensive PDA add on I am afraid I may need to call back and complain to get it--I got his name and CSR number just in case.

My plan:
Two line plan with 2000 shared anytime minutes, unlimited internet, 100 txts/line(now 500 or 600), free N & W after 9p, and free roaming.
$90/mo - 20% corp. discount(from prev. employer)= $72/mo + taxes, fees, & insurance.

Looking back now, I think I probably could have got a bigger discount if I had pushed them harder and longer, but as designed, I was tired of it all (took over an hour of being on and off hold, being transferred, etc.) and it was only $50 more than I was really wanting to pay(Verizon's Price). I'm just happy it does not req. an everything plan for another $40/mo and 500 less minutes! I almost switched for the Pre, but decided it just wasn't worth the extra $480/year.
